Davis delighted as Puritans take it to the final day

Banbury United manager Paul Davis was delighted with his side’s display in Tuesday’s Evo-Stik Southern League clash at Spencer Stadium.

The Puritans beat Slough Town 3-0 with two goals from Leam Howards and one from Marvin Martin to keep alive their hopes of staying in the premier division. Tuesday’s victory means a win at Chesham United in Saturday’s final fixture and defeat for Frome Town against St Neots Town would be enough to save the Puritans from relegation.

After the game, Davis spoke to the Banbury Guardian.
