Brackley Town boss Jon Brady knows his side must eradicate the errors if they are to take the bulk of the points from two games in three days this weekend.
Saints have suffered back-to-back defeats and Brady will want to stop that becoming three on the trot when they entertain Worcester City in Saturday’s Vanarama National League North clash. Two days later Saints travel to AFC Telford who this week parted company with manager Steve Kittrick.
Individual errors are costing us, the players know who they are but we will take responsibility collectivelySaints boss Jon Brady
Following Saturday’s 3-2 defeat at FC United of Manchester, Brady said: “We’ve been punished for more uncharacteristic errors from experienced players.
“The same thing was happening last season with a less experienced team so I didn’t expect it to happen this time.
“I’m happy with our play in the attacking third and we’ve got goals throughout the side but we must tighten up at the back. We need to turn it around very quickly because we should have come away from Manchester with a victory.
“Individual errors are costing us at the moment, the players know who they are but we take responsibility collectively and we will work it out as a team. We’re still trying to get the right balance.”
Ryan Rowe should spearhead City’s attack on his return to St James Park where Saints will be without Curtis McDonald who begins his three-match suspension following his dismissal earlier this month.
