The ten-year-old came fifth in the concluding Johnny Henderson Grand Annual Challenge Cup Handicap Chase.

It had been an consistent campaign for Croco Bay but the cheek-pieces seemed to work. Under a nice weight, Croco Bay jumped well throughout for the Wardington Gate Farm handler.

Although Croco Bay, who is owned by Lady Jane Grosvenor, finished just outside the places, he led early on and was prominent throughout under jockey Kielan Woods.

Croco Bay led two out and was still in with a chance of a place up the hill before he was reeled in before the final fence.
