Banbury II beat Long Marston by three wickets in division one of the Cherwell Cricket League.

Simon Butler 76 and James Beesley 48 helped Long Marston to 255-9 while Stephen Hart took 3-23 and Jimmy Phillips picked up 3-60.

In reply, Ollie Morgan 65, Tom Bartlett 56 and Will Briggs 38 saw Banbury home in the 50th over despite Jeremy Smith taking 3-54.

David Taylor hit a century as Horley beat Cublington by 52 runs in division three.

Taylor 108 and Dave Eaton 31 top scored as Horley were dimissed for 245 runs while Will Rodnight took 6-55.

In reply, Jon Hart 5-17 and Pete Papanfus 3-59 shot Cublington out in the 39th over with Sam Carter 98 top scoring.

Banbury III lost by eight wickets against Bledlow Village.

Ollie Murray 64 top scored as Banbury posted 247-9 while James Hawkes took 4-55.

In reply, Harry Bartlett 96, Ollie Woodward 81no and Will Woodward 45no saw the visitors home in the 42nd over.

Banbury IV beat Chearsley by 25 runs in division four.

Mark Pallett 76 top scored as Banbury were dismissed for 219 runs while Edward Holland took 6-53 and Ken Baker took 3-41.

In reply, Edward Bradbury 4-31 and Chris Phillips 3-49 shot Chearsley out in the 48th over despite the efforts of Andy Crichton 53 and George Miller 48.
