Horley moved away from the Cherwell Cricket League division three relegation zone with a four wicket success at Oxford Downs II.

Darren De Bruyn took 3-42 as the hosts were dismissed for 132 runs, leaving Dave Clark 47 to put Horley on their way to another crucial victory.

Champions Cropredy beat Shipton-under-Wychwood II by eight wickets.

Jacob Heath took 8-34 as the visitors were dismissed for just 68 runs which Cropredy passed in the 22nd over.

Brackley drew with Kingston Bagpuize in division four.

Luke Stone 55 and Robert Cartwright 45 top scored as Brackley declared on 234-6. In reply, Arthur Verdin 40 helped the hosts to 126-9 at the close while Josh Markham 3-15 and Josh Rowland 3-32 did their best to earn maximum points.

Banbury II beat Long Marston by three wickets in division one.

Jimmy Phillips took 5-23 as the hosts were dismissed for 141 runs in which Matt Shepherd 42 and Sam Bastin 33 top scored.

In reply, Olly Clarke 33 helped Banbury to victory in the 41st over despite Peter Tovey taking 4-35.

Great & Little Tew II kept their promotion hopes alive in division two with a five wicket success against Horspath II.

Jack Briggs 37 and Akheam Fox 40 top scored as Horspath were dismissed for 171 runs at Ledwell Road with Lloyd Brock 5-52 and Ian Bryan 4-32 doing the damage.

In reply, Curtly Slatter 49 and Brock 47no guided the hosts to victory in the 29th over despite Asad Rafiq taking 3-41.

Sandford St Martin lost by 74 runs against Aston Rowant II at Ledwell Road.

Alex Jewell 53, Tom Needham 38no and Tim Morgan 31 top scored as the visitors were dismissed for 194 runs with Simon Smith taking 4-36 and Nick Best picking up 3-53.

In reply, Andrew Dyer took 4-41 and Nedham claimed 3-24 as Sandford were skittled out in the 42nd over.
