Long-time leaders Cropredy beat Cublington by four wickets to stay well out in front in division three of the Cherwell Cricket League.

Jacob Heath took 5-47 and Ed Somerton picked up 3-32 as Cublington were dismissed for 163 runs in which Greg Jenkins 51 and Sam Carter 39 led the way.

In reply, Eli Heath 33 top scored for Cropredy who got home in the 39th over despite the efforts of Jack Rodknight 3-17.

Horley beat struggling Banbury III by 193 runs.

David Clarke 68, Jon Hart 58no and Nick Tarrant 30 helped Horley to 272-7 while Ollie Murrey took 4-56. In reply, Pete Papenfus took 5-42 and Adam Webb picked up 4-31 as Banbury were shot out in the 32nd over.

Banbury II beat Twyford by seven wickets in division one.

Olly Clarke took 4-12 and Stephen Hart picked up 3-30 as Twyford were dismissed for 131 runs with Shahid Mahmood 54 top scoring. In reply, Clarke 34no saw Banbury home in the 43rd over.

Great & Little Tew II beat Didcot by 152 runs in division two.

Robbie Catling 71, Michael Darby 35 and Matthew Warner 30 helped the visitors to 216 despite Aiden Kammel taking 7-20.

In reply, Warner picked up 5-25 and Jack Belmont claimed 5-37 to skittle the hosts out for just 64 runs in the 22nd over.

Sandford St Martin beat Bledlow Village by 127 runs.

Kris Jones 70, Martin Anson 50, Tom Goffe 43 and Mark Robey 40 all made useful knocks as Sandford posted 296-9 while Marcus Goodchild took 4-68 and Tom Moore claimed 3-69. In reply, Anson took 3-29 as the visitors were dismissed in the 39th over despite Moore’s 44 runs.

Brackley beat Tiddington by three wickets in division four.

Tiddington posted 172-7 with Patrick Knightley 56no and Charlie Elliott 33 top scoring while Keith Cartwright took 4-45. In reply, Robert Cartwright 64 and Michael Cartwright 41 put Brackley on their way to victory in the 46th over.
