Captain Lloyd Sabin knows Banbury must beat Burnham in Saturday’s Home Counties Premier Cricket League fixture if they are to put the pressure on Finchampstead.
And it could prove to be a pivotal weekend in the division one title race.

While Banbury entertain Burnham on Saturday, champions High Wycombe take on leaders Finchampstead and need a win themselves to get back into contention themselves.
But Banbury must do their bit at White Post Road where Sabin says his team’s sole focus will be on Burnham.
He said: “We won’t be concerned about games elsewhere, we have to focus on beating Burnham. They are down near the bottom but they can be a dangerous side at times, much like Slough.”
Banbury returned from the leaders with a share of the spoils last weekend in a game that could have gone either way right up until the final over.
Ollie Clarke made his debut and the 17-year-old batsman made an encouraging start.
Sabin added: “It was a great game of cricket and it swung way then the other. Our batsmen coped well with Jandre Coetze but Finchampstead have got a lot of good players so we didn’t focus on just one.
“I knew that if I could bat through most of the innings we would get a result but Ollie [Clarke] did really well on his debut with me.
“At 114-7, I thought we could go on to win the game but then Finchampstead got into a winning position.
“We dropped Coetze in the penultimate over and that could have been the difference between us winning and drawing the game.”
