Banbury II lost by five wickets at Great Brickhill in division one of the Cherwell Cricket League.

Tom Bartlettt 68 top scored but Iqbal John took 5-35 as Banbury posted 187-5. In reply, Mark Nelson 71 and Nick Cadman 53 helped the hosts home in the 32nd over despite Charlie Hill taking 3-26.

Great & Little Tew slipped to a three wicket defeat at Bledlow Village in division two.

Harry Smith 41 and Lloyd Brock 33top scored as the visitors were dismissed for 158 runs as Matt Pearce took 5-37 and Ben Moore picked up 3-42.

In reply, Will Woodward led the way as Bledlow got home in the 44th over despite Jack Belmont taking 3-36.

Sandford St Martin lost by five wickets at Challow & Childrey.

Nick Leader 72 and Charlie Beeson 39 helped Sandford to 178-9 while Connor Jones took 4-25 and Olly Dimbylow picked up 4-49.

In reply, Hamish Matthews 65 and Tim Linnane 47 put the hosts on their way to victory in the 43rd over.

Banbury III drew with Cublington in division three.

Ali Jarvis 75, Ollie Murrey 68no and Stuart Murray 35 helped Banbury to 266-6. In reply, Sam Carter 116, Pip Webb 48 and Matthew George 37 helped the visitors to 252-7 at the close while Murrey took 4-67.

Division three leaders Cropredy lost by five wickets against Buckingham Town II.

Joe Fox 48 and Richard Lynch 39 top scored as Cropredy were dismissed for 193 runs as Ben Laycock claimed 4-37 and Richard Pengelly picked up 3-34.

In reply, Laycock 77 and Tim Riley 70no saw Buckingham to victory in the 46th over despite Jacob Heath taking 3-68.

Horley lost by 69 runs at Shipton-under-Wychwood II.

Simon Hole 102 and Liam Harte 42 helped Shipton to 254-8 despite Jon Hart taking 4-99.

In reply, David Clark 56, Sam Pearce 42 and Dan Campbell 40 all made good knocks but Paul Hemming 4-40 ended their hopes in the 40th over.

Brackley drew with Kimble in division four.

David Barnes 52 helped Brackley to 198-8 while John Dumbarton took 3-39. Joshua Markham took 3-37 but Kimble held on to close on 82-7.

Banbury V beat Blewbury & Wallingford II by 40 runs in division eight.

Steve Partington 47 and John Pallett 44 helped Banbury to 161-4 while Ricky Prescott took 3-28.

In reply, Mike Thomas took 5-21 as the visitors were dismissed in the 43rd over despite Joey Edwards hitting 34 runs.
