Tom Wilson inserted East Oxford with the threat of heavy showers likely and the innings fluctuated until Westbury bowled them out for 193 in 42 overs.

Graham Judd was the pick of the bowlers with 2-11 with wickets again shared around.

In reply, Westbury got off to a poor start before Ben Rae looked to have the innings under control with three good partnerships in the middle order.

When Rae was caught for 64, the match was in the balance and Westbury’s long batting line was going to be tested.

Two further wickets left Westbury needing 44 to win with just two wickets left and the last two batsmen at the crease.

But a nerveless partnership between Andy Clark and Charlie Harper saw Westbury get the remaining runs without any drama.

Brackley drew with Bletchley Town.

In reply, Adam Wirth 37 helped Brackley to 127-8 at the close while Ricardo Brown took 3-29.
