Steve Beck hit an unbeaten 78 runs while Will Hawtin made 61 as Banbury posted 238-7.

In reply, Jimmy Philips picked up 4-43 and Steve Hart took 3-53 as the visitors were dismissed in the 46th over despite the efforts of Phil Watmore 37, Chris Thompson 35 and Tom Light 32no to salvage a draw.

Great & Little Tew II saw their promotion hopes stutter with a draw at Oxford Downs in division two.

Johnny Law 44no and Alex Ling 35 helped the hosts to 229-8 while Ian Bryan took 4-62. In reply, Lloyd Brock 55 and Robbie Catling 42 helped the visitors to 200-9 at the close.

Steve Dobson completed a century as Sandford St Martin beat Horspath by 35 runs.

Sandford were dismissed for 280 runs as Dobson 160 and Chris Thompson 42 led the way while Jehan Mohammed took 4-45.

In reply, Simon Smith took 3-83 as Horspath were dismissed in the 51 st over despite good knocks from Dominic O’Connor 95, Mohammed 43 and Akheam Fox 34.

Division three champions Cropredy beat Banbury III by five wickets.

Ed Somerton took 6-36 and Richard Lynch claimed 3-39 as Banbury were dismissed for 77 runs. In reply, Siam Hussain 41 helped Cropredy to victory in the 22nd over despite James Risbridger taking 5-43.

Horley beat Buckingham Town II by 111 runs to preserve their status.

Pete Papenfus 59 and Dave Clark 35 top scored as Horley were dismissed for 189 runs as Saajan Patel took 4-24. In reply, Adam Webb took 7-44 and Papenfus picked up 3-33 as the visitors were shot out in the 28th over.

Brackley lost by three runs against Great Brickhill II in division four.

Marcus Critchley 42 helped the visitors to 139-9 while Keith Cartwright took 3-5 and Josh Markham picked up 3-39. In reply, Michael Lowe 40 top scored as Brackley were dismissed in the 44th over as Hamid Milah took 4-57.

Banbury V beat Didcot III by 108 runs in division eight.

John Pallett 45, Michael Thomas 35 and Andrew Proctor 30no helped Banbury to 159-7 while Alan Prothero took 4-56 and Dave Allen took 3-21.

In reply, Joe Wetherill took 4-8 and Sam Pearce picked up 3-2 as the visitors were shot out in the 27th over.
