Banbury captain Lloyd Sabin wants his team to seize the moment when they take on Henley in a top-of-the-table clash this weekend.

The White Post Road side lost their 100 per cent record in the Home Counties Premier League last weekend when they were forced to hang on for a draw in the local derby game with Great & Little Tew.

We will approach the game the same as we have the first six weeks of the season

Now they face another tough encounter with the 2014 champions – and current second-placed side – visiting.

But, despite the first hiccup of the summer, Sabin has few concerns about his team’s form and is confident if they take their chance when it comes they will get a valuable victory.

“We’re still top of the table,” Sabin said.

“It would have been nice to go into the game with a 100 per cent record still but we aren’t and won’t worry about that.

“We always have good games against Henley and it’s one of the matches I always look forward to.

“We’ve played them a number of times and they are always tight games.

“We will approach the same as we have in the first six weeks of the season.

“Everyone is pretty relaxed at the moment and playing their natural games.

“Our style has been relaxed but what we have been doing is realising when the key moments in games are and working hard in those periods.

“There will be a tough period against Henley because they’re a good side.

“It’s all about how we react to that situation and if we react properly we will be
there or thereabouts in the game.”
