The champions posted 111-3 in their ten overs in Tuesday’s division one fixture with Martin Anson 31no, Nick Best 27no leading the way while Joe White took 2-42.

Robbie Catling 43no and Liam Manley 25no led Tew’s reply but they only got home off the final ball.

Shipston-on-Stour beat Cropredy by five wickets.

Cropredy could only make 52-6 in 7.5 overs with Tom Bunting 21 leading the way while Nick Hibbert took 3-20.

In reply, Shipston found the required runs in 7.2 overs with Tom Cox 26no top scoring.

Banbury beat Hook Norton by nine runs.

Mark Pallett 33 and Andy Prior 29no helped Banbury to 115-5 in their ten overs while Jordan Glazier took 2-35.

After looking set for victory with Glazier 44 and Dan White 26 top scoring, Hooky were dismissed in 7.5 overs as Ollie Murrey took 5-43.

Castlethorpe beat Great Tew II by six wickets.

Tew looked set for a big score but only ended on 78-1 in ten overs with Mark Jeacock 27no and David Powels 26no top scoring while Nick Bell took 1-8. Castlethorpe got home in the sixth over with Matt Faulkner 26no and Stuart Walding 25no top scoring.
