Bulls take on Henley Bulls in Wednesday’s final, having booked their place with an excellent 24-11 victory over Oxford Harlequins in Friday’s semi-final at Bodicote Park.

Kerr said: “We can go into the final with plenty of confidence and enjoy the game. We will focus on how we want to play the game.

“The performance against Harlequins certainly equalled the one against Earlsdon, we knew it would be tough and that we would have to be at our best.

“We knew Harlequins would have the weight advantage in the scum but we held our own. Our intensity levels were high and we were excellent in defence and attack.”

Before then, Bulls entertain Malvern in Saturday’s Midlands Two West South fixture.

The leaders have a nine-point advantage over their nearest rivals but Kerr said complacency will not creep in as they look to take another step to automatic promotion.

He added: “We have a big advantage but we will not be taking our foot off the gas.

“It’s a busy time for us over the next couple of weeks but the players are really up for it.”
