The long-time leaders produced a 29-24 victory over Pinley to seal the title and promotion with a game remaining.

George Grieve settled any nerves with a couple of early tries, with Sam Stoop converting one of the scores. James Page extended Banbury’s lead when he raced over but Adam Walsh then picked up a yellow card and Pinley got their first points on the points on the board from a penalty.

After the restart Carl Daniels raced over in the corner to put Bulls 24-3 ahead and Josh Deegan extended their lead when he went over. Pinley were not content to play the supporting role and they scored two converted tries late on but Bulls held on to seal the championship and a return to Midlands One rugby.
