The Banbury team headed to Barcelona for the final round of Formula V8 3.5 Championship with seven drivers in contention for the Drivers Championship, including Orudzhev and Aurelien Panis.

In the opening race, Orudzhev made a great start from fifth on the grid, which allowed him to take the lead by the first corner.

Panis moved up into fifth by the end of the opening lap. After overtaking fellow countryman Vaxiviere Matthieu, the Frenchman took fourth place.

Orudzhev took the chequered flag but, despite his victory, he lost his chance for the title, and closely behind while Panis crossed the line in fourth place.

Claiming 37 points, the team collected enough points to clinch the team title.

In the second race, Orudzhev stalled in tenth place on the grid. An extra formation lap was declared and Orudzhev was pushed into pit lane to start.

As the final car passed, Orudzhev had an incredible start and had gained four positions by the end of lap two. But Panis was forced to pit early for a new front wing after collision.

Orudzhev showed fast pace throughout for seventh while Panis was 12th after receiving a 20 second-penalty.
