You can audition to be a Disney prince or princess in Paris - here’s how
This is everything you need to know about upcoming open auditions for jobs at Disneyland Paris.
What are they looking for?
The Disneyland Paris website states that they are looking for “enthusiastic and highly energetic people to join our characters and parade department”.
They are looking for people to:
Perform as a famous Disney and/or Marvel characterParticipate in the parades (you’ll need a good level of dance)Portray Disney female and male face characters - subject of having distinguishing characteristics to portray the famous look alike characters
The casting call states that no prior experience in entertainment is required, but you will need to be between 137cm (4ft 5) and 193cm (6ft 3). The call states that you will be measured during the audition.
The employment contract is described as “open ended/seasonal” and that contract start dates are available through a six month period following the audition. Contract lengths are a minimum of four months.
This opportunity is only open to those aged 18 and older and candidates must speak English or French.
Where and when are the auditions?
The auditions will take place across two dates and two locations in January 2020.
On 25 January, the auditions will take place at Liverpool Theatre School at 10am.
On 26 January, the auditions will take place at Yorkshire Dance Centre at 10am.
How to apply
As this is an open audition, you don’t need to register your interest in the position. Instead, just turn up on the correct date at the correct time at the relevant centre.
You should wear comfortable clothing in order to freely allow you to participate in movement and dance, and you should not wear any makeup.
You should also bring with you a CV (which won’t be returned to you) and be available until 6pm.
