Hot Dub Time Machine is one of the biggest audio and music events you can attend - and now you don’t even have to leave your house to attend the latest offering from the Australian DJ outfit.

If you’re getting bored at home, this is the perfect concert that you can enjoy from the comfort of your own living room - although you’ll have to get up early.

What’s the event?

The Facebook page event states that the live steam will be a “proper 1954-2020 Hot Dub show”.

Tom Loud, the person behind Hot Dub Time Machine, wrote, “I just really feel like a proper dance, to get sweaty, listen to some great music, have a sing, be a little bit silly. You guys have to dance too though… fun cardio!”

Partygoers are also encouraged to post pictures and videos using the hashtag #hotdubathome.

Hot Dub Time Machine was launched in 2011, and has gone on to become a massive audio-visual success. The event has attracted huge crowds, such as the 80,000 at Edinburgh’s Hogmanay, 40,000 in Sydney's Domain, supporting Chaka Khan, and the 30,000 at the Falls Festival Byron main stage.

Where and when can I watch?

The stream will be taking place between 6pm and 8pm Sydney time on Saturday 28 March 2020 - which will be an early 7am to 9am on the same day in the UK.

The stream will be shown via the YouTube channel, Tom Loud.

Can I watch it after it’s been streamed?

It’s stated in the description of the event that the stream is “very much a live thing, the recorded video will be missing big chunks of music due to copyright and might even not stay on YouTube at all”.

The stream also won’t be on Facebook due to copyright issues, so if you don’t want to miss it, you’d better put it in your calendar and set that early alarm.
