Aldi is trialling a click and collect service for the first time - here’s how it works
Aldi is following in the footsteps of other supermarket chains which have implemented a ‘click and collect’ service, allowing customers to choose their items online and then simply pick up the already packed shopping bags.

More availability
The click and collect trial is currently only available for Aldi colleagues from a store in the Midlands. However, there are plans to extend the service to customers in the coming weeks. If this proves successful, it could then be expanded across the country.
Customers who use the click and collect service will be able to choose from a full range of grocery items online, before driving to their local store to pick it up. They will be able to select time slots to arrive at dedicated click and collect points in Aldi car parks, where they can then collect their shopping.

“‘This is yet another way we are innovating to make sure we best serve our existing customers and make Aldi’s great products and unbeatable prices available to even more people.”
Changing the way we shop
Although numerous supermarkets have been operating click and collect services for years, Aldi has not offered this service to customers before.

This service allows customers to choose from a range of more than 300 Aldi products and then have them delivered straight to their door in half an hour.
