Woman involved in A43 accident dies in hospital

A woman involved in an accident on the A43 near Towcester last month has died in hospital.

Margaret Holton, aged 89, of New Road, Greens Norton, was involved in a collision at the Tiffield turn on Thursday, September 19.

She died yesterday (Sunday) in the University Hospital Coventry.

Mrs Holton was the driver of a Volkswagen Polo which was in collision with a Jaguar near to the A5 Towcester roundabout.

At the time of the clash, the A43 was closed for an extended period to allow emergency services to assist casualties.
