Witnesses wanted to Banbury street brawl

Police are appealing for witnesses after two men had a brawl on the streets of Banbury.

Two men were seen fighting outside Jubilee Court in George Street, Banbury, at around 1pm on Saturday June 25, The pair were then seen fighting in Gatteridge Street.

Police attended and found one man in Grove Street bleeding heavily from his nose. A second man was located at an address on Gatteridge Street.

Both men are white. One was wearing a white t-shirt with a black pattern across the chest, a green jacket and beige chinos. He is described as slim with close shaven hair and having a bike. He sustained a cut to his nose.

The other man is white, stocky, and was wearing a red checked shirt and blue jeans. He sustained a cut to his hand.

Both attended Horton General Hospital for treatment and were later discharged.

Investigating officer PC Beth Camp, based at Banbury police station, said: “I would like to talk to anyone who may have any information which they think could help our investigation into this incident. Please get in touch by calling the Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.”
