Voices Across Time, whose members are Joseph Cummings, Florence Taylor and Harriet Wells, will be performing ‘I’ll Be Home For Christmas’ at the Adderbury Village Institute on December 17.

For those unlucky enough to miss out on tickets to the main show the trio will be opening up their 2pm dress rehearsal to the public although, due to health and safety concerns, tickets will be required for this also.

All profits from the event will be going to local charities, Katharine House Hospice and SeeSaw.

The musical tells the story of war time Adderbury as residents rally together during the Christmas season as they face the threat of a bombing raid. After the performance, the shelter will transform into the GIs’ annual Christmas party with music from the Andrews Sisters.

Voices Across Time is a not-for-profit organisation that rely on generous donations from the public to support the work they do. Individual sponsors support each production but the trio are looking to find longer term sponsors to enable their work to continue.

Not content with just performing the group hope to branch out and take their talents into the classroom as a tool to teach children history via the use of music and workshops. They also want to explore the possibilities of using music and song as a therapeutic device to improve the wellbeing of those suffering from dementia and Alzheimer’s.
