The project was funded by Viridor Credits Environmental Company and the new facilities were opened on Saturday by Peter Renshaw, chairman of the company’s board of trustees.

Viridor Credits provides funding for community projects based near its landfill sites through the landfill communities fund.
Also at the opening ceremony were West Oxfordshire councillor James Mills, Ian Hudspeth, leader of Oxon County Council and Tony Reed, chairman of the management committee of the Bartons Victory War Memorial Hall Fund.
The scheme has cost £160,000 and also includes a new disabled toilet for the function room, a dedicated changing room for performers and baby-changing facilities in the new public toilets and the existing function room toilets.
The hall is regularly used by the village bowls club, football club and history society.
