VIDEO: Dismay as bricks thrown through window of Chipping Norton home
Samantha Stonehouse, her partner and her six-year-old daughter were in their living room when the attack happened at around 9.20pm on Monday night (April 2).
One of the bricks narrowly missed the child’s head but hit her mother’s leg, while the others shattered the glass.

Hide AdThe family, which runs Excelsior Taxis in the town, has no idea why anyone would do such a thing.
“All the family work for us, we have been going for about nine years and it’s all ran by the family, we don’t do anything to anyone,” Ms Stonehouse said.
“We’re all from Chipping Norton, even my partner, so we’re both well known families, we’re just trying to work why?”
CCTV shows a hooded person walk into the front garden, triggering the security light, then throwing three items at the house before running off.

Hide AdMs Stonehouse said police officers did not have much hope of catching them as the footage is not very clear, much to her disappointment.
The family has improved the security around the house to ward off any future attackers.
Investigating officer PC Carly Milward said, “I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident or can provide any further information that may assist this investigation.
“I urge anyone with information to call 101 and quote the reference number 43180098578.”
