The family, which runs Excelsior Taxis in the town, has no idea why anyone would do such a thing.

“All the family work for us, we have been going for about nine years and it’s all ran by the family, we don’t do anything to anyone,” Ms Stonehouse said.

“We’re all from Chipping Norton, even my partner, so we’re both well known families, we’re just trying to work why?”

CCTV shows a hooded person walk into the front garden, triggering the security light, then throwing three items at the house before running off.

“I urge anyone with information to call 101 and quote the reference number 43180098578.”
