VIDEO: Banbury couple thank readers for their donations

The parents of baby Jasper Steele have said thank you to Banbury Guardian readers who donated cheques to help their appeal to buy their son a special helmet.

Kylie Hill and her partner Johnny Steele shared their story in last week’s Banbury Guardian (September 3) about their son being diagnosed with flat head syndrome and needs the helmet to aid his growth.

The NHS won’t pay for the helmet themselves so the couple set up a Just Giving donation page to reach the £2,500 target.

And their story touched the hearts of several Banbury Guardian readers, as reporter Jason Pritchard visited the couple’s home on Edinburgh Way yesterday (Tuesday) to deliver cheques to help their appeal.
