Two men were assaulted in a nightclub in High Street, Banbury.

At around 3.10am on Sunday, November 29, the victims, aged 19 and 20, were waiting in line for their coats inside Moo Moos when they were struck from behind by a person with a bottle.

Both victims sustained head injuries which required treatment and attended Horton General Hospital. They have since been discharged.

Investigating officer PC Dan Hopkins, from Banbury police station, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened during the incident or anyone with any information which could assist with enquires.”

A 32-year-old man from Cambridge was arrested on suspicion of GBH and was released on police bail until December 6. He has been rebailed until December 27.
