Disruptions to the First Great Western service between Oxford and Banbury are continuing today, Tuesday.
Repair work to a signalling problem near Oxford has been carried out overnight and will continue throughout the morning. Disruption is expected to continue until the end of the service.
Trains cannot run from Charlbury towards Oxford. Services that usually run between Great Malvern/Worcester Foregate Street and London Paddington will run between Great Malvern/Worcester Foregate Street and Charlbury only.
Buses will run between Charlbury and Oxford to connect with alternative services to London Paddington.
First Great Western passengers may use:
Arriva Trains Wales, London Midland on all reasonable routes.
Virgin Trains services between London Euston and Birmingham New Street.
First Buses on routes 44, 44A, 44C, 550, 551, 557, and 420.
During this disruption if passengers want to use local buses as an alternative means of transport and the local bus is not accepting First Great Western tickets they should keep the bus ticket and send it, together with their rail ticket, to First Great Western.
CrossCountry is no longer affected.
