One pool appears to start on the wall of private car park that runs along the footpath and can be seen to have continued across the path and onto the road.

The second, larger pool, covers an area of approximately 3 feet by 1 foot and is some distance from the first pool towards the Matalan car park.

The pathway between Broad Street and Christchurch Court had been cordoned off but is now free from obstruction although the blood remains.

Police are reporting that the blood was the result of an injury sustained after an unnamed man had fallen this morning.
