Sportz Connections is the brainchild of former Banbury United FC player Kevin Wilson who went on to play over 600 league games for clubs including Chelsea and Ipswich Town.

Mr Wilson said: “I went along to an ‘Evening with Bryan Robson’ last March at GF Social Club as a guest and I really enjoyed it and I thought, with my connections in the professional ranks of football, putting on a show like that would be something I would enjoy and it would also help clubs such as my hometown club.”

“I will be inviting the Brodey Centre which is a Horton General Hospital Charity and who do amazing work with cancer patients, to do a collection on the night.”
