Travellers occupying Langford Playing Fields asked to leave by Bicester Town Council
Bicester Town Council have asked travellers occupying Langford Playing Fields to leave.
Several caravans moved onto the land yesterday morning and this afternoon a town council officer visited the site to ask them to leave.
The land is owned by Bicester Town Council and the verbal notice could pave the way for a formal eviction notice issued by the police.
Earlier officers from Thames Valley Police vistited the camp site and warned the residents against bad behaviour.
