Travel tales to be part of Banbury Literary Live
And on Sunday November 20 he will being giving an insight into his award-winning career at Banbury Literary Live, which will be held at North Oxfordshire Academy.
He will be discussing his travel writing, rooted mainly in the Middle East, and how changes in journalism have led him to write for the BBC and broadcast for Radio 4 amongst working for many more major news networks.
Teller’s writing, whether an article or book, has received international recognition and praise from some of the world’s most highly regarded news networks. His article regarding Abu Dhabi’s tourist industry, The Quiet Revolution, was not only published in CNN Traveller but was also named ‘Best Business Travel/Trade feature’ by The British Guild of Travel Writers.
As well as that Teller’s travel book, Rough Guide to the Italian Lakes, was awarded the international Prize for TV and Communication in Europe and was named the Best Guidebook runner-up at the Italian Travel Writing Awards.
