UPDATE: Appeal for witnesses in fatal Deddington crash

Thames Valley Police is appealing for information following a fatal road traffic accident in Deddington.

Between 9.30am and 9.40am on Thursday, March 22 on the A4260, a collision occurred between a silver Toyota Auris and a black Ford Focus estate.

The driver of the Toyota, a man in his thirties from Reading, was treated by paramedics but passed away at the scene.

His next of kin have been informed.

The driver of the Ford Focus, a man in his eighties from Oxfordshire, was taken to hospital by ambulance with serious injuries, but, he too, passed away.

His next of kin have been informed.

Investigating officer, PC Phil Hanham, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit based at Bicester, said: “We are appealing for witnesses following the collision and we are asking anyone with dash cam footage of the incident or the lead up to the incident to come forward.”
