Motorists should expect long traffic delays throughout most of today (Monday August 17) along the A422 in both directions near junction 11 of the M40.

The traffic congestion is due to a lane closure on the roundabout for roadworks.

It's recommended motorists allow extra time to travel if its necessary to drive through the Hennef Way area of Banbury.

Two advisories of the traffic delays were issued by the Transport and Travel Information Centre Team from Oxfordshire County Council on social media today, Monday August 17.
