The police have closed a road between Banbury and Chipping Norton after a serious road accident.

The A361 South Newington Road near the village of Bloxham has been closed by the police in both directions after a serious accident today (August 7).
The police are carrying out accident investigation work on the road and advise all motorists to avoid the area and find alternative routes.
