A motorcyclist died after being involved in a crash with a van on the outskirts of Warmington on Saturday (September 15).

Emergency services, including the air ambulance, were called to the B4100 Banbury Road at around 11.40am after the crash at the junction with Camp Lane.

On arrival, the male motorcycle rider was in cardiac arrest but, despite the best efforts of everyone at the scene, it became apparent nothing could be done to save him, a West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said.
