'Minor injuries' after three-car crash on A361 near Swerford

A car ended up on its side in a hedge after a crash involving two other vehicles on the A361 near Swerford yesterday (Tuesday, October 16).

Fire crews from Chipping Norton, Hook Norton and Banbury fire stations were sent to the three-car crash at around 9.05am.

Luckily those involved sustained only minor injuries and Thames Valley Police, South Central Ambulance Service and Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service worked in partnership to bring this incident to a prompt conclusion, a fire service spokesman said.

Watch manager Simon Piper from Chipping Norton said: “Following a number of road traffic collisions throughout Oxfordshire and the Thames Valley over the past couple of days, I would urge drivers to be cautious and drive according to the conditions."
