A man died after his car left the road and collided with a tree near Thorpe Mandeville with police appealing for witnesses.

A silver Peugeot 107 was travelling towards the village on the B4525 Banbury Lane, near the junction of Thorpe Road, at about 11.15pm on Tuesday night (March 20).

For unknown reasons, it left the carriageway and collided with a tree – the driver died at the scene.
