An elderly woman remains in a serious condition in hospital after a car crash near Shenington last week – with police appealing for witnesses.

A silver Nissan Note and a white Nissan Juke were involved in the accident at the crossroads at Alkerton Barn Farm at around 12.05pm on Thursday (October 11).

The woman was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and is currently in a serious, but stable condition, while a man also received minor injuries, police said.

Investigating officer PC Phil Austin said: “We are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen this collision.

“We would also ask anyone who might have dash-cam footage of the incident to come forward.”
