All London Midland trains running on the line are affected with morning timetables halted and transport arranged by bus replacement services.

A spokesperson from London Midland said the line had still not reopened just after 9.30am.

He said: “Customers travelling on London Midland services which call at stations between Leamington Spa and Dorridge, in either direction, will be affected.

“A small number of services between Birmingham Snow Hill, Whitlocks End and Stratford Upon Avon are also cancelled as a result of the signalling failure.

“Customers are advised that road transport has been arranged from Leamington Spa to Dorridge. At Dorridge customers can join London Midland train services on the Snow Hill lines to Birmingham Snow Hill.

“We apologise if you are affected by this disruption and advise customers to check the latest journey planning information before they travel. Customers who are delayed by 30 minutes or more are advised to submit a Delay Repay claim.”
