This is why multiple police cars were sent to a street in Banbury last weekend
As many as four police cars and more than a half dozen police officers were spotted at the bottom of Orchard Way near Warwick Road last Saturday, February 20.
Multiple reports surfaced on social media over the weekend of how people had seen a heavy police presence on Orchard Way late Saturday afternoon.
A spokesperson for the Thames Valley Police said police officers were responded to a report of a man believed to be in possession of a firearm around 3.25pm on Saturday February 20.
Officers attended Orchard Way and spoke to a man matching the description provided. No weapon was found and no crime found to have been committed.
