This year’s annual show by the Joanne Mills School of Dance will be extra special, as the school celebrates 30 years of teaching in Banbury.
Joanne Mills School of dance was established in 1985 when Joanne Mills started teaching a few children at Ruscote Hall and Banbury Town Hall.
As the classes grew, Joanne moved into her studios in Parsons Street in 1986, where she has taught thousands of children from around the area.
Hundreds of students and helpers will be taking part in this year’s show, entitled Dancing Through Life.
The show is being held at Tudor Hall School with shows today and tomorrow, Thursday and Friday, and matinee and evening performances on Saturday.
All Joanne’s family are on board, with mum and dad Paddy and George involved in front of house, husband Stewart appearing in the show, daughter Jessica dancing and choreographing and sonFraser there for support.
