Staff and children at St Mary’s Primary School decided to donate some food to people in need instead of sending each other Christmas cards this year. Just before the end of term, the children and headteacher Victoria Woods welcomed Lieutenant Zander Coleman from the Salvation Army Corps, who collected the hamper of food.

Thanking the children, Lieutenant Coleman said: “It’s great to see these wonderful young people caring for their community this Christmas. The Christmas Spirit is alive and well in Banbury.”
