Strangers force their way into Chipping Warden home

An elderly man was grabbed by the throat after two strangers forced their way into his home in Chipping Warden last night (Wednesday).

At about 8pm, the men knocked on the door of a house in Appletree Road and forced their way inside.

They then grabbed the elderly resident by the throat and pushed him against a wall before telling him to sit down.

But they fled without taking anything from the property.

Both men wore dark clothing and it is believed they were both under 20-years-old.

One had a hood covering his head and face and the other wore a balaclava.
