Members of Banbury Sewing Circle have been working on an unusual project for people with dementia.

The knitted muffs have sensory objects stitiched on to stimulate the senses of touch and sight.

They also give comfort to dementia sufferers, who often have restless hands and poor circulation.

The twiddle muffs are being donated to care homes and individuals.

If you know someone who would benefit from one, call Sheila Jackson on 07854 146363.
