Pam said: “I heard about it through the newsletter from Katharine House and it’s always something I’ve wanted to do so I thought I’d get some other people to do it with me.”

De Boer staff are no strangers to charity fundraising having staged a number of events over the years for their two charity partners but felt like a change.

Kate said: “We were quite up for doing something different, Pam is quite persuasive and from HR.”

The team will ramp up their sponsorship efforts as the walk approaches but already have one firm rule to walk by.

Daniel said: “Just don’t trip and we’ll be all right.”
