Slimmer Rachael Willson, pictured, was among a group of volunteers who took on the Biggest Loser Challenge for Katharine House Hospice, where contestants were given three months to lose weight.

Parkwood leisure donated three months membership for their facilities at Spiceball and Woodgreen and Sindy Matthews, local fitness and wellness coach, donated three months membership to her Kick Start Fat Loss club and became the group’s mentor for the challenge.

The five slimmers have lost a total of almost three metres in measurements and raised more than £2,000.

Katharine House would like to thank all of the participants for their efforts, Parkwood leisure for providing the membership for participants and Sindy Matthews for her KSFL memberships and her ongoing support.

Next year’s challenge will be starting in January 2016. If you would like to take part you can register your interest at www.khh.org.uk
