A disabled mum who lost three and a half stone with Slimming World is now setting up her own group.
When Deanne Moses-Wright, from Kings Sutton, was told she needed an extra-wide wheelchair in April 2014, she decided to join the Slimming World group in Bodicote.
Deanne, who suffers from osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia, went from 17½st and a dress size 22, down to 14st and a size 14 to 16, greatly boosting her self-esteem.
A change in medication led to a small gain in weight this year, but now the medication has settled, she’s aiming to be a healthy size 14 for her 40th birthday in February.
Deanne, who is mum to Catilin, aged 14, and Aimie, 12, now wants to help others who are struggling with their weight, as she opens her first Slimming World group in King’s Sutton on January 4.
