Business students from Banbury and Bicester College are organising an indoor football tournament for Katharine House Hospice tomorrow (Wednesday).
They are aiming to raise more than £200 by selling tickets to players and spectators for the event which will run from 2.30-4pm at Spiceball Leisure Centre.
Teams of six players, including those from outside the college, are being invited to enter.
Members of the winning team will be presented with a six-month pass to Spiceball Leisure Centre.
Tickets cost £3.50 per player and £1 per spectator with all money going to Katharine House Hospice to support its work providing palliative care to those with terminal illness.
Lee Jamieson, learning manager for business at Banbury and Bicester College said: “It is really great to see students raising money for this fantastic cause, using all the skills they are learning on their business course. This project not only raises money for Katharine House Hospice but also promotes a healthy and active lifestyle. I’m very proud of our students for independently organising this event.”
