There was fun for all the family in Shipston-on-Stour last Friday at a Victorian Evening organised by the Rotary Club.
The event has now become an integral part of the town’s calendar year, with many businesses getting involved to raise money for good causes.
The evening included market stalls and street entertainment from The Shout Choir, Shipston Town Band, stilt walkers and a Ukulele band.
There was also face painters, Father Christmas and a Christmas Best Dressed Window competition.
Philip Vial, town mayor, said: “This was the busiest year so far for Shipston’s Victorian Evening. I am absolutely delighted that the charities and voluntary organisations such as Drugs Action Shipston (DASH), my charity for this year , have raised so much money for their services.
“It’s also good to see businesses embracing the evening and many other shops which joined in the fun.”
