Police have released CCTV images of a boy they want to speak to after an assault at the Tesco store in Lockheed Close store, Banbury.

At about 7.50pm on Tuesday, two boys were refused the sale of alcohol after being unable to show appropriate identification.

The boys then became abusive towards staff and were directed to leave the store, one of the boys assaulted the security guard.

Investigating officer, PC Lucy McDonagh of Banbury Police Station, said: “We are keen to talk to the boy in the CCTV image as we believe he may have information to help with our enquiries into this incident.

“If you have any information regarding this incident or have seen any suspicious activity please report this straight away via the non-emergency enquiry centre on 101.”
