There will be chance to keep Adderbury’s best bits close at hand through 2015 thanks to some eagle-eyed young
photographers.

Members of 1st Adderbury Scouts recently took part in a photography competition as part of one of their badges.

The key rule for those taking part was that their photographs had to be taken in and around the village, with the best 12 being used in a calendar for next year to sell and raise funds for the troop.

Entries were submitted by Tom Haynes, Luca Lenihan, Josh Pocock, Ewan Taylor-Evans, Harvey Rye, Harry Critchfield, Edward Brown, Danny O’Toole, Ben Haynes, Ben Brown, Archie McCusker and Alfie Bullus.

The judging panel, including Banbury Guardian acting deputy editor Richard Howarth, then looked through more than 200 photographs to select the top 12.

Mr Howarth said: “The scouts did some excellent work and we’re delighted to reproduce some of those final 12 here.”

The calendar has now been printed and is on sale for £5.
